Na solenidade estavam presentes, o prefeito Roberto Francisco dos Santos; entre outras autoridades militares e locais, além de representantes de diversas entidades civis.
Sessenta (60) escolas participaram do evento, sendo, 37 municipais, 15 estaduais e 8 particulares. Só das escolas estaduais foram mais de 1.400 alunos.
